In less than two weeks, the first round of the MX Nationals will kick off in Horsham, Victoria, for a series opener that is set to boost the local economy with hundreds and thousands of dollars.

With the series returning to the Wimmera region on Sunday, 29 March, the MX Nationals will inject close to half a million dollars into the local economy in just one single weekend of motocross racing.

With more than 100 entries per round of the championship, the MX Nationals brings with it a loyal band of fans – boasting more than 800,000 followers on Facebook – as well as more than 20 team trucks.

The MX Nationals is a show in itself and prides it’s self in being a town economy booster and a true tourist attraction. Restaurants, accommodation chains, local shops and more, are set to reap the rewards of the roadshow arriving in town for the highly-anticipated round one.

As well as the boost to the local economy, Horsham residents will be treated to the highest quality motocross racing that Australia has to offer, at their very own world-class racing venue.

2014 Australian Champion Matt Moss will look to defend his title in the premier MX1 class, while the Luke Clout will fight to back up his championship in 2015, in the MX2 class.

With so much action set to be squeezed into just one weekend, residents of Horsham and surrounding areas will have the opportunity to witness a season opener like no other.
