South Australian Brett Metcalfe will officially return to the Monster Energy Thor Kawasaki team to contest the 2015 CMRC Canadian Motocross National season.

Metcalfe won the Canadian title on debut in 2013 on board a KX450F, before spending last summer in the US replacing Ryan Villopoto at Monster Energy Kawasaki – finishing fourth in the standings.

“For 2015, I think we’ve assembled one of our strongest line-ups yet,” said team owner Jason Hughes. “We’re really excited to get Brett back for 2015 and he will no doubt be the title favourite.”

Metcalfe returns to the team and is eager to reclaim the championship title that he vacated. He has been racing selected AMA Supercross rounds during the winter to get tuned up for his return and is happy to be back on the team he won his title with in 2013.

Longtime team regular Teddy Maier joins Metcalfe in the MX1 class, while Cole Martinez will be contesting the MX2 class.
