Queensland privateer Luke Wilson will be back on track at Murray Bridge’s fourth round of the Monster Energy MX Nationals this weekend.

After missing the last round due to an elbow injury sustained while racing at Coolum for the Queensland state titles, Murray Bridge marks his return and he’s feeling better than ever.

“I’ve been seeing a sports psychologist for the last three weeks so feeling good mentally and physically pretty good too,” Wilson said.

“I chipped a bit of bone off my elbow at Coolum so haven’t been able to ride, but I’ve been back on the bike this week and I feel I can ride to my ability so this weekend should be good.

“Murray Bridge isn’t super sandy, but having rode at Coolum a few weeks ago, I think that experience will help me this weekend for sure, so I’m looking forward to getting back out there.”

Wilson and teammate Jake Emanuelli, who is coming off a top 10 finish at Wonthaggi last month, will continue the team’s transition to Honda for this season.
