RCH Racing Suzuki’s Broc Tickle has undergone surgery after injuring his T7 vertebrae at the Toronto round of Monster Energy Supercross series.

Tickle has been recovering at St. Michael’s Hospital, where Dr. Howard Ginsberg performed surgery to repair the unfortunate injury.

“Broc’s surgery was successful and we are wishing him a speedy and 100 percent recovery,” commented team owner Carey Hart. “We can’t wait to see him healthy and back racing.”

Fellow co-owner Ricky Carmichael has also wished Tickle the best in his recovery after showing strong form in 2014 to date.

“I’m extremely bummed about Broc’s misfortune in Toronto,” Carmichael said. “The most important thing is his health and taking every step to insure his comfort and recovery.

“We all couldn’t be more proud of him and how well he’s been riding, we are looking forward to seeing him get a leg over his bike again soon.”

RCH Racing has publicly thanked the medical team supporting Tickle via a post on its Instagram account today.
