Williams Event Management (WEM) has welcomed back for the fourth year running Thor as the championship presenting partner and the official gear of the 2014 Monster Energy MX Nationals series.

Thor has been a provider of quality racing gear for a number of years and is widely recognised for their high level products.

For four years running, Thor has thrown its support at the MX Nationals and will continue that partnership throughout the 2014 championship as the official gear of the series.

Sean Gallagher, managing director at Gas Imports, has spoken of the incredible opportunity in Thor being named the MX Nationals official gear for 2014.

“With the direction that Williams Event Management has taken in the last couple of years with promoting the sport through the social media scene, we can see that the sport is still very strong here in Australia,” he said.

Gallagher also explained the change in direction that Gas Imports and Thor has taken in the support of the motorcycling industry this year.

“The sport is still growing here considering the economic climate since the financial crisis,” he said. “This year we have had a change of tact. We have opted to sponsor a number of privateer riders – particularly Wilson MX Racing.

“This has allowed Thor to throw more support at the MX Nationals and the events that keep the industry in business. As a company we look forward to supporting the series again this year, and watching the MX Nationals grow in 2014.”

Williams has given praise to Thor for supporting the series, and continuing to support Australian motocross.
