National Pump Services has been named as the new naming-rights title sponsor of Kawasaki Australia’s factory motocross team alongside Monster Energy for 2014.

The National Pump Services Monster Energy Kawasaki team will field Adam Monea and Jake Moss in a youthful combination, both aboard the KX450F in the premier MX1 category.

It’s also been revealed the team will transfer to Pirelli tyres this season.

“It’s extremely exciting to have National Pump Services join Monster Energy Kawasaki in 2014,” team manager Troy Carroll commented. “For National Pump to step up and support the team like they have in 2014 is a huge plus and we are very grateful.

“We’re very appreciative of the continued support from Monster Energy and all of our other sponsors as well. With such a strong team support structure in place combined with how well Jake and Adam are currently riding, we couldn’t ask for a better start to the racing season.”

Kawasaki will also be represented in other classes at the Monster Energy MX Nationals by supported riders Meghan Rutledge and Blake Colleton. Rutledge will contest the MX2 category for the first time, while Colleton steps up to the senior ranks to contest MXD.

National Pump Monster Energy Kawasaki will debut at the first round of the 2014 Monster Energy MX Nationals at Broadford, Victoria, on 29-30 March.
