Monster Energy MX Nationals promoter Williams Event Management (WEM) and My Sport Live have confirmed that live streaming coverage online will be increased for the 2014 Australian Motocross Championship.

Every round of the 10-round series will see every minute of practice, qualifying and the final moto from each class broadcast live online.

The new and improved coverage – featuring more cameras and increased track coverage – is a result of the strengthened partnership between the MX Nationals and broadcaster My Sport Live.

After a successful 2013 series featuring groundbreaking coverage at each round, the broadcast will step it up in 2014 bringing you more of the live action as well as taking you behind the scenes for a backstage look at each event.

Speaking of the new broadcasting schedule for 2014, WEM director Kevin Williams said that this was just another example of the series being at the forefront of today’s latest technology.

“It really is exciting that we will continue with our online broadcast to take the series into the homes of viewers across the country and around the world,” he said.

“We are always at the forefront of cutting edge technology in motorcycling in this country, and took a big step forward last year by introducing live streaming before many other motorcycling events and other sports have.

“Our partnership with My Sport Live has developed to the point where they have invested into our series and we are all going to reap the benefits of this.

“This year we will have an even better production, introduce more variety in the race coverage, and take you behind the scenes to get a feel for the entire event – on and off the track.”

Williams added that the opportunity to attend local events while staying tuned in to interstate events was significant for the series’ loyal band of followers.

“There is definitely no better way to be part of the action than getting up close and personal with the action in person at each round,” he said.

“But we are a truly national championship – covering five states over 10 rounds, so it gives people the opportunity to watch events and follow the series when it is in another part of the country.”

Broadcast details will be provided ahead of each round, the series commencing on 30 March at Broadford.
