MX Nationals promoter Williams Event Management (WEM) will host the Victorian Arenacross Championship at Phillip Island next month alongside the opening round of the Superbike World Championship.

Scheduled for 21-23 February at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, the arenacross round will be contested on Saturday and Sunday at the event.

To be held on the Lukey Heights-based dirt bike circuit, the track layout will be the same as supercross events at the venue, however obstacles will be modified to suit arenacross regulations.

“We have aligned with the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit to conduct an arenacross event at the World Superbikes,” WEM general manager Kevin Williams told MotoOnline.com.au.

“It is a great opportunity for us to be involved and full details will be announced in mid-January.”
