Husqvarna will field a multiple-rider factory off-road team in the United States in 2014, the KTM-owned brand has announced.

Former 125cc American Motocross Champion, WORCS Champion and current AMA EnduroCross number two Mike Brown will lead the team, alongside Russell Bobbitt, Andrew DeLong and Jacob Argubright.

Brown has revealed he’ll make a guest appearance in the Australian Enduro-X Nationals – a major coup for the series when it commences in Brisbane on 2 February.

“It’s a big deal that they want my name to be with Husky,” Brown commented. “For sure, I’m excited. EnduroCross is the main focus, but I’ll be racing a bit of everything – as much as I can to get the brand out there.

“I’m going to do some of the Australian Enduro-X Nationals they’re having in February and then finish out the FIM SuperEnduro Championship in Europe.”

Brown will contest EnduroCross and other select events including a number of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross rounds, with Bobbitt and DeLong riding the AMA National Enduro series. DeLong will also ride GNCC.

Meanwhile, Argubright will represent Husqvarna in the National Hare and Hound Series, among other notable events.
