Husqvarna Motorcycles has announced that it will align with Californian-based exhaust and muffler manufacturer FMF.

Established in 1973, FMF will be a main partner of Husqvarna’s World Motocross, World Enduro World and Extreme Enduro teams.

FMF will develop and supply exhaust systems for all official Husqvarna team machinery – both four-stroke and two-stroke.

“The Husqvarna brand has always been a staple in the sport of motorcycle racing,” said FMF CEO Don Emler. “Being able to join forces with Husqvarna worldwide is a great step for the FMF Racing brand.

“From motocross to Extreme Enduro we look forward to working with Husqvarna and its athletes, providing them with the very best performance exhaust systems available.”

Husqvarna Motorcycles managing director Oliver Göhring welcomes FMF to the new-look brand’s strategic partners.

“We are extremely pleased to be working with FMF – a brand that is synonymous with success, passion for racing, and the development of innovative and cutting edge products,” he said.

“With FMF’s support of our racing activities it will undoubtedly allow Husqvarna Motorcycles to achieve the highest level of success in motocross, enduro and extreme enduro.”

Australian Todd Waters will form part of Husqvarna’s MXGP plans, lining up alongside former world champion Tyla Rattray in the Red Bull ICE1 Racing Husqvarna team.
