Honda has announced that it will host the Junior GP Challenge at the 2014 Clipsal 500 in Adelaide.

Aspiring motorcycle fans aged between six and 10 years old will be offered the chance to throw a leg over Honda’s CRF50F and learn the basics of motorcycle riding.

Kids will be able to visit the Honda Junior GP Challenge area in the GoPro TrAction Zone during the Clipsal 500 weekend to take part.

Supplied with full safety gear, qualified instructors will instruct 20-minute try it sessions on a purpose-built track giving kids a unique insight into the exciting world of motorcycling.

All kids will ride Honda’s CRF50F which, with its single-shock rear suspension, inverted fork and bulletproof four-stroke 49cc engine, is one of Honda’s best selling off-road machines.

Now in its 16th year, the Clipsal 500 Adelaide is an internationally recognised motorsport event attracting almost 300,000 visitors annually.

Staging round one of the V8 Supercar Championship Series, the Clipsal 500 is Australia’s largest domestic motor sport event.
