Moto 5: The Movie made its anticipated Australian premiere in Melbourne on Sunday evening, the event hosted by AME Management.

Staged at Backlot Studios in Southbank, the premiere attracted a who’s who of the local motocross industry including Josh Cachia, who stars in a segment filmed at his home in Carpenter Rocks, South Australia.

Now available nationally, Moto 5 features Carlton Dry Honda Racing’s Cachia in one of the film’s most spectacular sections due to the incredible location and his awe-inspiring natural ability on the bike.

“Typically, we travel to the riders rather than trying to have them travel with their bikes,” explained Moto 5 director Taylor Congdon. “Fortunately there are a lot of riders who live in unique locations.

“For example, Josh Cachia’s segment was shot in one of the most southern parts of Australia on the coast. He grew up there so it was logistically easy to set up.”

Moto 5 is now available on DVD throughout Australia in major retailers.
