Multiple Australian Off-Road Champion Toby Price will return to the United States this week for the first time since his career-threatening injuries sustained in April.

Price will attend this month’s Baja 1000 in Mexico on 14-17 November as a spectator, before taking part in Red Bull’s Day in the Dirt at Glen Helen on 29 November-1 December.

It’s been an admirable road to recovery for Price, who was cleared to return to riding early in September.

In his Baja debut in March this year as part of the factory KTM team, Price raced to fifth alongside Mike Brown in the San Felipe 250 event.

Price had originally been scheduled to compete in the Baja 1000, as well as the 500 which was held in June.

The news was confirmed by Price late last week via his official Facebook Page, departing Sydney for the US this afternoon.
