Freestyle motocross icon Cam Sinclair’s 2013 Nitro Circus LIVE Tour campaign kicked of in fine form in Moscow on the weekend.

Sinclair missed the majority of the 2013 tours of Australia and New Zealand when a shattered heal sustained during practise rendered him off the bike for three months.

No stranger to comebacks, the 29-year-old dedicated himself once again to a regime of rehabilitation and practice, in order to be ready to perform with the world’s best once again.

Making his Nitro comeback was made that little bit sweeter for Sinclair, being awarded the tour’s first ‘MVC’ (Most Valuable Clown) award.

“I’m so happy to be back on tour with the Nitro Circus crew,” Sinclair said. “Travelling the world with my friends, doing what I love is amazing. To get recognised with an MVC award at my first show back since last January is a huge compliment.”

The Nitro Circus LIVE Tour has been incredibly popular globally, selling in excess of 750,000 tickets since 2010 with up to 100 shows scheduled for 2014 – Sinclair recently inked a deal to continue as one of the show’s star performers for each.

Having performed three shows in Moscow across the weekend, the Nitro Circus LIVE tour is made up of 23 shows in just 43 days, a gruelling schedule for anyone, let alone those taking the inherent risks associated with action sports.

“We all know and accept the risks we take doing what we do, but wouldn’t have it any other way,” he added. “I’m pumped for the rest of the tour!”
