The nation’s top rising talent converged on Horsham in Victoria this week for the 2013 KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championship.

The 15 Years 250cc category was won by Wayde Carter from Nathan Crawford and Dylan Heaton. The same trio filled the 125cc podium, with Heaton getting the nod over Crawford and Carter.

In the 13-U15 Years Junior Lites 128-150/250cc class it was Egan Mastin who won, from Jed Beaton and Wilson Todd. Beaton and Todd went 1-2 in the 13-U15 Years 125cc ranks, with Connor Tierney completing the podium.

14-U16 Years BW 85cc/150cc winner was Kaleb Barham, with Tyler Mccoy second and Travis Silk third. Wade Kirkland won the 12-U14 Years BW 85/150cc title from Cody Dyce and Wyatt Chase.

Mason Rowe was the youngest of the 85cc champions in the SW 9-U12 Years, heading Rhys Budd and Mason Semmens. Budd won the 11-U13 Years 65cc championship from Brodie Ellis and Mason Rowe.

The 9-U11 Years 65cc class belonged to Jett Lawrence, whose brother Hunter was injured during the week, from Liam Andrews and Tye Jones. In the 7-U9 Years 65cc ranks Brad West won the title, with Senna Agius and Jack Kitchen filling the top three.

Deegan Mancinelli won the 7-U9 Years 50cc Division 2 title ahead of Zachary Watson and Jackson Camilleri.

Australia continues to develop promising girl racers, with Emma Milesevic winning the 13-U16 Years 128-150cc/250cc title over Ashleigh Mccormick and Amy Bartsch. The 12-U16 Years BW 85/150cc class was won by Chelsea Carter, Mccormick and Bartsch.
