Australia retains podium positions at 2013 ISDE halfway point

Team Australia continues to shine as the 2013 International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE) reached the halfway point after day three in Sardinia, Italy.

Team Australia continues to shine as the 2013 International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE) reached the halfway point after day three in Sardinia, Italy.

The dominant French team leads the Senior Trophy class by nine minutes from USA and Australia.

In the Junior Trophy running France leads from Italy and Great Britain, with Australia retaining sixth position.

Australia’s Women contingent again leads the way, near nine minutes ahead of Sweden and France.

Individually Glenn Kearney is sixth in E1 and Tom McCormack 11th, led by Cristobal Guerrero, Jeremy Joly and Santolino Lorenzo.

Aussie champion Daniel Milner continues to lead the E2 ranks from Johnny Aubert and Pierre Alexandr Renet. Josh Strang is eighth, Josh Green 12th, Lachlan Stanford 21st, Scott Kegan 33rd and Ben Burrell 34th.

Enduro Junior World Champion Matt Phillips was forced out with a mechanical problem during day three’s proceedings.

Outright event leader Antoine Meo is at the front of E3 ahead of Mathias Bellino and Australian Chris Hollis.

Jessica Gardiner is 33 second ahead of Jessica Jonsson in the Women’s, while Jemma Wilson has climbed to third. Tayla Jones slipped out of her podium position to sixth.
