Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Adam Monea has completed an agreement that will see him commence working Queensland-based training company Alter Ego Elite.

The talented MX1 rookie joins a long list of reputable athletes working with Alter Ego Elite, including Moss brothers Matt and Jake, Luke Clout, Jay Wilson, Luke Wilson and Zak Newsome.

“There are a couple of holes that i wanted to fill, so since I ride for a Queensland-based team and things like that, it was only smart to go to somebody like Dan Reardon and Alter Ego Elite to take forward steps and try better myself,” Monea explained.

“It’s just a case of working to make Sundays that little bit easier, where I can be 100 percent on my game and have the guys right there to help me with my preparation, warming up and whatnot.”

Alter Ego Elite was founded by former national champion and international racer Dan Reardon following his retirement from the sport at the end of last season.

Reardon, who was widely recognised for his fitness and knowledge throughout his career, welcomes Monea to the program.

“We’re pumped to have Adam approach us and invite us to be a part of his program,” Reardon commented. “There are many pieces to the puzzle obviously, so we just strive to be one of those pieces and to assist these athletes in achieving their goals.

“Adam is extremely motivated and has a lot of talent, so I can really see him starting to blossom over the next few months and years to come.”
