CDR Yamaha Off-Road’s Daniel Milner has earned himself two consecutive Outright wins during rounds seven and eight of the 2013 Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championships (AORC).

Held in the Coonawarra region south-east of Adelaide, Saturday’s round seven saw Milner take the Outright win ahead of teammate Stefan Merriman and Husaberg’s Jarrod Bewley.

Milner also dominated the E1 category, taking the overall win ahead of Husqvarna’s Glenn Kearney and Yamaha mounted Peter Boyle.

In the E2 class it was CDR Yamaha Off-Road’s Stefan Merriman who mastered the tricky circuit and came out on top. Merriman was followed by Active8 Yamaha Yamalube Racing Team’s Josh Green and Motorex KTM Off-Road Racing’s Chris Hollis.

Riding strong throughout the day it was third overall Outright holder Jarrod Bewley who landed the win in the big-bore E3 category. Motorex KTM Off-Road Racing’s Geoff Braico followed closely behind him.

Sunday’s round eight saw Milner take yet another Outright victory aboard his CDR Yamaha Off-Road YZ250F. Milner was followed by Kearney in second and teammate Merriman in third to round out the podium.

Milner again clinched the E1 class victory ahead of Husqvarna’s Kearney at round eight. Bumping Boyle out of podium contention on Sunday was Active8 Yamaha Yamalube Racing Team’s Tom McCormack in third.

Merriman saw himself take his second E2 category win of the weekend, taking home top honours for round eight. Motorex KTM Off-Road Racing’s Hollis was right there behind him in the runner-up spot followed by Green in third.

Making it two from two in the E3 class for the weekend was Bewley. Aboard his Finke-spec Husaberg FE501 he took the round eight win ahead of Braico and Yamaha’s Stefan Ganquist.

The 2013 Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championships head to Bendigo in Victoria on 17-18 August for rounds nine and 10 of the series.
