Williams Event Management’s Kevin Williams has revealed his personal standouts during the first five rounds of the 2013 Monster Energy MX Nationals, Australia Motocross championship.

As the series currently takes a six-week mid-season break, Williams spoke with MotoOnline.com.au yesterday reflecting on the success of the revised 2013 series to date.

Featuring fresh venues, the all-new GoPro Super Pole and stacked fields of talented riders, Williams makes it clear that the increased level of the 2013 MXN series is no coincidence.

“The level of the championship is not by accident,” Williams told MotoOnline.com.au. “It’s been a lot of work.

“We held a promoters conference and every organising club had two delegates attend in January, and everybody’s working hard to achieve the best results.

“The bar is being lifted. We’ve had a lot of different elements thrown at us and the championship is still very much alive.”

Williams will take into account all of the feedback and his personal experience throughout the first half of the season to assure the final five rounds continue to raise the bar even higher.

“Going into the half-way mark, we have this good opportunity to look back at what’s worked and what hasn’t worked, and make sure that we continue to tweak the product in the coming five rounds,” he added.
