Australia’s Josh Sheehan is geared up for Japan’s Red Bull X-Fighters this weekend after putting on a display at the famous Sun building in Osaka alongside Japanese rider Daice Suzuki.

Sheehan and Suzuki warmed up for this weekend’s event with jumps alongside the 70-meter high Japanese landmark that is known as the symbol of Expo ’70.

Sheehan and Suzuki will be competing against 10 of the world’s best freestyle motocross riders on Saturday in front of Osaka Castle in the city’s famous Nishinomaru Garden.

Sheehan will be joined by fellow Aussie Rob Adelberg at Japan’s first-ever X-Fighters event with New Zealand’s Levi Sherwood also slated to contest the fourth round of the series.

France’s Tom Pages leads Australia’s Adelberg into this weekend’s event in the overall standings with Sherwood in fourth and Sheehan rounding out the top five.

After wrapping up in Osaka, the six-stop championship will move to Madrid on 19 July and will conclude in Pretoria, South Africa on 7 September.
