International line-up confirmed for Manjimup 15,000 in WA

The prestigious Manjimup 15,000 will take place in Western Australia on 8 June, featuring a host of international and national riders for the 2013 running.

Contested at the Cosy Creek motocross circuit, Dirt High Promotions has confirmed Jamie Law (UK), Travis Freistat (USA) and Weston Peick (USA) in the international contingent.

Top Australians slated to line-up include MX Nationals series leader Todd Waters (KTM), Kirk Gibbs (KTM) Luke Davis (Yamaha) and Louis Calvin (KTM).

According to Dirt High Promotions, four-time national champion Jay Marmont (Kawasaki) and brother Ryan (Suzuki) are also in the frame to compete, while WA local star Dean Porter (Honda) will also ride pending his fitness.

The Manjimup 15,000 has established itself as Australia’s richest and most prestigious outdoor motocross competition, with $20,000 on offer in the Pro Open ranks.

This 2012 event was won by multiple British champion Brad Anderson for the second time, winning three out of the four races and also took home the win and the cash in the shootout.

Jake Moss came in second overall for the weekend, with Porter completed the podium for the Western Australian contingent.
