2013 MX Nationals Rd4 Broadford qualifying report
Qualifying rundown from Broadford's fourth round of the Monster Energy MX Nationals.
Motul Pirelli Suzuki’s Matt Moss charged to his second GoPro Super Pole in succession with a dominant performance at Broadford’s fourth round this morning.
Moss was fastest in the regular qualifying session and then backed that up with a 2m08.850 lap in Super Pole. He was quickest to adapt to the sloshy conditions, however the track should dry up come time for the motos.
The order from regular qualifying remained consistent during the sessions, with Moss leading Kirk Gibbs (Motorex KTM), Cody Cooper (Motul Pirelli Suzuki) and Billy Mackenzie (CDR Yamaha).
Carlton Dry Honda’s Ford Dale pulled out of his Super Pole lap in the opening corners with a suspected tweaked knee.

The MX2 class was led by runaway series leader Luke Styke, the Serco Yamaha rider heading Josh Cachia (Carlton Dry Honda), Luke Clout (Serco Yamaha), Kayne Lamont (Choice Motorsports KTM) and Matt Ryan (Honda).
In the MXD ranks it was Kiwi Hamish Harwood who rose to the top of the charts ahead of Nick Scott, Joel Dinsdale, series leader Jack Simpson and Jay Wilson.
