The 2013 Monster Energy MX Nationals make their way to Murray Bridge in South Australia this weekend for round two of the 10-round series.

Motorex KTM’s Todd Waters put on a dominant display in the MX1 class at the season opener in Raymond Terrace. Waters swept both motos and the all-new GoPro Super Pole, he will lead the premier class into this weekend’s action.

Motul Pirelli Suzuki’s Cody Cooper holds down second overall in the MX1 ranks with CDR Yamaha’s Billy Mackenzie following him in third. Multi-time champion Jay Marmont sits in fourth with Matt Moss rounding out the top five.

In the MX2 class it’s Serco Yamaha’s Luke Styke who leads the charge into Murray Bridge. Styke won both motos at the season opener and stamped his authority on the class in a big way.

Chasing Styke this weekend will be Carlton Dry Honda Racing’s Josh Cachia who sits second overall in points, with MX2 rookie Kale Makeham following him in third aboard his KTM Australia backed KTM 250 SX two-stroke.

Rounding out the MX2 top five is Styke’s Serco Yamaha teammate Luke Clout who sits fourth after his rookie debut. Troy Lee Designs – Maxima Zero Seven Motorsports’ Kade Mosig rounds out the top five overall.

KTM mounted Jack Simpson leads the MXD class after round one, closely followed by Kawasaki rider Jesse Dobson with Hamish Harwood rounding out the top three.

This weekend’s Murray Bridge round will also see the Yamaha Pro Quads and Scott Junior Rookies competitors take to the track for the first time this season.
