Motorex KTM Off-Road Racing’s Chris Hollis is searching for Outright wins as the 2013 Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC) nears its mid-point of the series.

Although Hollis is currently dominating the E2 class with an undefeated scorecard to date, his teammate Toby Price is proving to be tough competition in the Outright division.

After kicking off his season with an Outright victory at Bulahdelah’s season opener, Hollis has been unable to tackle Price from the top spot during rounds two, three and four of the series.

“Toby hosed us yesterday, he’s riding really well but I was able to beat him in a couple of tests today,” said Hollis.

“He’s on the gas so in the next couple of days I’ll sit back and think about where we can find some more time, but I’m off to a good start in the championship.”

Heading into Corner Inlet’s rounds five and six in Victoria, Hollis plans to lock in more Outright wins after his three-round dry spell.

“A couple of Outright wins in the next few races would be good!” he added. “I’m happy it all went pretty well this weekend, the bikes were awesome and they did the business for us.”

Hollis currently trails his teammate Price by six points in the overall Outright championship standings after four of 12 rounds.
