Rewind: Toby Price in 2010

Take a look back at Toby Price as he prepared to defend his first-ever AORC title.

Motorex KTM Off-Road Racing’s Toby Price will once again carry the number one plate into this weekend’s round one and two of the 2013 Australian Off-Road Championship at Buladelah in New South Wales.

This weekend’s season opener will mark the the third time Price has held the number one plate at round one, after earning himself the E3 class title during the 2009, 2010 and 2012 seasons.

Although Price has been a dominant force throughout the last four years, he did slip up in 2011, handing the championship over to his teammate Chris Hollis.

Price struggled with injury during that season aboard his KTM 350SX-F, but with a clean bill of health and a switch to the KTM 500 EXC, the young rider from Port Macquarie was back to his championship winning form.

For 2013 Price is healthy and ready to defend his title, again on the 500 EXC in E3 as part of Brad Williscroft’s revamped off-road program.

He will ride alongside former dual AORC champion Chris Hollis and Ben Burrell. Hollis will ride E2 on a 450 EXC, stepping up from the 350 EXC-F, while Burrell is the team’s E1 pilot. Plus, Ben Grabham will be part of the team again this season.
