Graham Jarvis has taken victory during the 10th running of the Hell’s Gate in Italy aboard his Husaberg, making short work of the gruelling conditions riders were faced with.

Jarvis’ 2013 Hell’s Gate win marked his third consecutive victory at the event, joining fellow three-time winner David Knight as the most successful riders in the events history.

With a large amount of snow fall within the region, the 2013 Hell’s Gate event was very different to previous years, providing yet another challenge for the riders to deal with.

“It’s been a complete different Hell’s Gate this year, just because there is so much snow,” Jarvis said. “The first lap was horrendous because there was no lines and we were just guessing what was underneath the snow.

“The last few laps there was a good line and you just had to stay on the line. If you made one mistake you were over the bars and face planting in the snow.”

Behind Jarvis it was KTM’s Jonny Walker who took the runner-up spot, with Cody Webb rounding out the top three aboard his Beta. Alfredo Gomez scored fourth place for Husaberg while Beta’s Ben Hemingway took out fifth.
