It has been announced that the opening round of the 2013 Australian Arenacross Championship will be held in front of an international audience as part of the World Superbike Championship event at Phillip Island.

A total of 14 individual classes will do battle on the Lukey Heights track, with juniors to race on Saturday 23 February, and seniors to follow on Sunday 24 February.

The event will allow emerging and established talent to race bar-to-bar at an iconic circuit featuring a custom-built track.

Organisers are encouraging riders to get their entries in early and take advantage of a special deal which will allow competitors and their family a 50 percent discount on adult pre-purchased camping tickets.
