Take a step back in time to when The Lizard first joined CDR Yamaha in 2011.
The biggest news ahead of the 2012 MX Nationals, Australian Motocross Championship, season was CDR Yamaha’s signing of Kiwi legend Josh Coppins. A former runner-up and veteran of the world championships, Coppins was coming ‘home’ to Australia (close enough to NZ!) for a couple of final seasons before hanging up his boots. He fell short of the title that year, but won it upon retirement in 2012, so in this edition of rewind we thought we’d look back to where it all began for Coppins at CDR Yamaha in 2011. He’s a class act and we wish him all the best with his new JCR Yamaha outfit in New Zealand during 2013.
