Serco Yamaha has officially announced the continued support of Luke Styke and Luke Clout for the 2013 motocross and supercross season.

Yamaha’s official factory MX2 race outfit is back with the same pairing from the 2012 Australian Supercross Championship and preparations have already begun for a busy and successful 2013 season.

“I feel we have a very fast and balanced team in 2013,” commented Serco owner Gavin Eales. “Styke was impressive in 2012 both with his speed on the track and his maturity off the track and we are happy to continue our relationship with him.

“He is becoming a professional athlete in many ways and we still think he has plenty of tricks left up his sleeve.

“Clout is young, fast and aggressive with a lot of determination and they are the perfect characteristics we want in our riders. He loves racing and I think will be a huge asset to Serco Yamaha in 2013.

“It’s only a few months to the start of the MX Nationals but both guys are already putting in the hard yards and the team has already started on the bikes. I look forward to another strong season from Serco Yamaha.”

Styke finished second in the MX Nationals during 2012, just two points from the title, while Clout won on debut in the MXD ranks at Moree toward the end of the season. Stay tuned for more on both Styke and Clout in the coming days.
