Paul Feeney Group (PFG) has officially announced Graeme Boyd Motorcycles as the new Husqvarna motorcycles dealer in the Newcastle region of New South Wales.

The appointment marks a return to Husqvarna of sorts for Graeme Boyd, the longtime Suzuki of Newcastle motorcycle identity kicked off his early off road racing career in 1975 on the Husqvarna brand.

“It’s great to add the Husqvarna brand to our existing products,” said Boyd. “We considered the brand shortly after Paul Feeney Group took on the distribution of Husqvarna back in 2004 however the timing wasn’t ideal for us at that point.

“The acquisition of the Husqvarna brand by the BMW Group has changed the landscape significantly with regard to increased consumer confidence and enhanced levels of quality and finish.”

Boyd is confident in Husqvarna’s range of motorcycles available and says he is impressed with the program being run at the Paul Feeney Group.

“I am very confident we can be very successful with the full range of products available from minicross through to the new Nuda 900 road models,” he added.

“I recently spent three days at the PFG Headquarters and came away impressed by both the new Husqvarna product and the staff at PFG.”

With the arrival of the new TR 650’s in mid-December Graeme Boyd Motorcycles will have the full range of Husqvarna’s in stock. Graeme Boyd Motorcycles are located at 90 Lambton Road Broadmeadow, Newcastle.
