Australia’s leading freestyle motocross stars continue to rally behind the new Terex Australian Supercross Championships, with three more highly-credentialed riders confirmed to perform at Dubbo.

Dual X Games gold medallist Jackson Strong, Crusty legend Matt Schubring and up-and-coming talent Jayo Archer will join the lineup which already features Cameron Sinclair, Mark Monea and Josh Sheehan.

The late inclusions will be a surprise treat for supercross fans who already have their tickets to this Saturday’s opener at Dubbo’s Morris Park Speedway.

The FMX show is included in ticket entry, and the chance to see riders of this calibre perform together are few and far between.

Strong, from the small township of Lockhart, felt it was important that freestyle motocross be showcased to regional centres and was looking forward to being part of the entertainment.

“It’s going to be really good to be a part of Supercross at Dubbo,” said Strong. “These areas are where dirt bikes are most popular and this is a good way to combine racing and FMX for everyone to enjoy.

“The rider lineup that they have been able to put together is very strong – between us we’ve ridden all the major tours and there’s X Games golds and X-Fighters wins in there as well.

“It’s definitely the way forward and really good that riders from all different disciplines can come together to make this happen.”

FMX shows, Monster Truck demo’s, the kids’ Throttle Jockeys Arena, pit walks and a range of interactive exhibits will add to the schedule of world-class Supercross racing.
