Two time British motocross champion, Brad Anderson, will return to the UK for the 2013 season for the Maxxis Kawasaki by L.P.E team.

Anderson spent the 2012 season in Australia as part of the Carlton Dry Honda Thor Racing team, contesting in the Monster Energy MX Nationals series.

With both Ben Townley and Ford Dale being signed to pilot the 450’s for the Honda squad in 2013, Anderson decided to make the move back to his familiar British Motocross scene.

“It was sort of like Ando was on secondment to the Australian series really and he knew we wanted him
as a future part of the team,” said Steve James of the Maxxis Kawasaki by L.P.E team. The new outfit and increased support from long term partner Maxxis, along with valuable input from Apico and Answer clothing, sealed the deal in double quick time.

“Now we can build on this solid foundation and I hope to be announcing other top line signings for our dedicated MX1 team in the very near future”.

Ross Burridge, Kawasaki Motors UK racing coordinator is excited about the new program for 2013.

“Our support over the past four years for the L.P.E team has been unstinting and we’ve seen them grow
in experience and stature,” said Burridge. “Now, with the Maxxis deal and an influx of paddock interest, it looks like it’s their turn to step into the spotlight and make a solid challenge for championship success.”

Anderson finished up his stint in Australia with a fourth overall finish in the Monster Energy MX Nationals premier MX1 class standings.
