KTM haved added another two world titles to their already impressive list of accomplishments, with Antoine Meo and Christophe Nambotin both securing Enduro World Championships.

Frenchman Nambotin wrapped-up the E3 division world title aboard his KTM 300 EXC during Saturday’s action at the GP of Finland, where rounds 13 and 14 of the season were held.

Fellow Frenchman and KTM teammate, Meo, then captured his E1 class world title during Sunday’s round 14 of the series aboard his KTM 250 EXC-F.

Pit Beirer, KTMs sports director, explains that both Nambotin and Meo are not only acclomished riders, but also currently set a great standard for upcoming KTM mounted stars.

“Antoine and Christophe have been the stand out riders throughout the season,” said Beirer. “They are great ambassadors for Enduro and for France and they are great role models for our younger riders like Giacomo Redondi, our supported rider and winner of the 2012 Youth Cup.

“They have also embraced KTM’s ‘Ready to Race’ culture and they have done it with skill and sportsmanship that is a credit to them both. My thanks also to the entire team, to our team manager Fabio Farioli, and all those back at Mattighofen who have worked so hard to make these two titles possible.”

After the success of capturing two world titles, KTM endured a rough setback during the weekend with Nambotin’s E3 teammate David Knight having to stay overnight in hospital after a crash during Saturday’s race had driven the bike handlebars into his stomach.

Team boss Fabio Farioli said he was being released on Sunday after doctors confirmed that he had sustained no internal injuries. Knight will ride again in the final two rounds in France.
