Motorex KTM Off Road Racing rider Toby Price wrapped up his third career Australian Off-Road Championship during last weekend’s ninth and 10th rounds of the series at Kapunda in South Australia on 25-26 August.

Price added the 2012 AORC title to what has been a glorious season to date, previously winning the Finke and Hattah Desert Races this year. He clinched the title on Saturday with second Outright in the Cross Country, before cruising to his eighth round win during Sunday’s Sprint round.

Along with his Outright honours aboard the 500 EXC, Price also clinched the E3 class championship in the AORC, capping off a spectacular series for the 25-year-old. Price was victorious during both E3 rounds in South Australia.

“I’m stoked to get my third Outright title and first E3 championship,” Price said. “It’s been a great weekend for the Motorex KTM Off Road Racing team, we put in the hard work and it’s all paid off – I couldn’t ask for any more from everybody involved.

“Jeff Leisk and everybody from KTM set me up with a great bike in the 500 EXC and I’m just so happy that we chose that bike. It turned out to be a winning combination and I can’t wait to do the Four Day on that bike, which is my goal now.”

The next national outing for the Price and his team will come at the Australian Four Day Enduro, which is scheduled to take place at Warragul in Victoria on 24-27 October.
