Three of Husqvarna Racing's factory bikes were stolen yesterday.

Three Husqvarna Racing off-road motorcycles were stolen from the team transporter parked at Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast between the hours of 12.00am and 4.30am yesterday.

The Husqvarna Racing Team, run by Gold Coast-based Importer Paul Feeney Group competes in off-road enduro racing at a national level.

The team was packed to travel to South Australia to compete in the final two rounds of the Australian Off-Road Championship.

Husqvarna Racing factory rider Glenn Kearney is currently placed third in the E2 championship and has a strong chance of challenging for the championship win over the weekend.

These bikes are factory built highly modified race bikes and are basically irreplaceable. The team is going to huge lengths in order to build new bikes in an effort to still give the riders the machines they need to compete at the top level.

Any assistance to spread the word about this incident and hopefully leading to the recovery of the bikes is greatly appreciated.
