Race wins are the focus for Carlton Dry Honda Thor Racing’s Ford Dale, as the series heads into its penultimate round in Moree this weekend.

Dale, coming off a solid win at Appin’s round eight, is hoping to carry his momentum as he makes a late-season charge at the Monster Energy MX Nationals MX2 title.

“I feel really good actually,” Dale said. “I’ve used the last couple weeks to focus on training so I’m feeling physically ready for this weekend.

“I really enjoy racing on the Moree track and I’ve heard the weather is going to be quite dry which will definitely benefit us race wise.”

Currently Dale is focusing on race wins, which he hopes will evolve into a championship win.

“I’m not trying to think about the overall championship to much,” Dale added. “My focus is solely on winning as many races as I can and hopefully everything else will fall into place.

Dale currently sits second in the MX2 points chase, 34 points separate him and series leader Luke Styke after eight of 10 rounds.
