The 2012 Dubbo Roar MX Open is slated to go ahead this weekend on 11-12 August, at the Dubbo Dirt Bike Club in New South Wales.

With a short break in the Monster Energy MX Nationals series, riders entering the event such as Errol Willis, Mitch Norris and a possible return to from Tye Simmonds could see things heat up on the track.

First place will take home $1000, along with second and third placed riders also receiving some extra cash for their efforts.

Coming on board for the 2012 event as the naming rights sponsor will be IVECO and Halls transport. On display throughout the event will be the latest offerings from the transport giants.

A full canteen will be operating throughout the weekend for refreshments, and grandstand seating will provide ample views of the on-track action.
