The Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour will make the move to Munich this weekend for the penultimate round of the series.

The event is slated to take place this Saturday in Munich’s Olympic stadium, where for the first time spectators will be able to follow the action from inside the track as well as from the tribune.

Germany’s round of the series could prove to be a decisive contest for the overall 2012 Red Bull X-Fighters World Championship crown.

New Zealand’s Levi Sherwood currently leads the standings with Chile’s Javier Villegas in second, while America’s Todd Potter holds down third.

Australia’s Josh Sheehan, Rob Adelberg and Blake ‘Bilko’ Williams have been unable to attend all five rounds of the tour, finding themselves out of contention for the 2012 title.

The series will move on from Germany to wrap up on Sydney’s Cockatoo Island on 6 October, where the championship will be decided.
