A new face was in the mix at Appin’s eighth round of the Monster Energy MX Nationals, as Keiron Hall made his competitive return with the Full Force CarsRus team on Sunday.
Hall was exceptional in his comeback, made all the more impressive by the fact that his weapon of choice for the remaining outdoors is a Yamaha YZ250 two-stroke in the MX2 ranks.
After qualifying 10th, Hall was 15th and 11th in the pair of back-to-back motos. It was his fighting third in the final moto that made headlines come Sunday afternoon though.
“I had an average first two races, had a few bike problems and a stupid little crash up the top but other then that, the last race went really well for me,” Hall reflected.
“I got a third place and got a good start. Good starts are not normally like me! I’m happy with the overall day.
Hall’s form handed him ninth overall for the weekend, providing him a platform to build from in the upcoming final rounds.
