Team Honda Muscle Milk has announced that they will be continuing their relationship with Trey Canard through the 2014 season. Next year will mark Canard’s third season aboard the factory Honda machine.

Canard has suffered a string of injuries since joining the Honda Muscle Milk squad in the 450 Class, but while healthy, the former 250 Class AMA Motocross champion has shown flashes of brilliance.

Currently recovering from a broken back suffered at the Los Angeles supercross, Canard looks forward to extending his stay with Honda and plans to return to his previous form in 2013.

“It is a huge blessing to be back with Team Honda Muscle Milk,” said Canard. “I am extremely happy that I get to continue working with such a great group of people. I am looking forward to building on the good races we have had in prior seasons.”

Team manager Erik Kehoe believes Canard has what it takes to be a top championship contender in the premier 450 Class.

“We are very excited to continue our relationship with Trey,” said Kehoe. “Over the past few years he has proven that he has the skill and commitment that it takes to be a top contender for the championship.”
