Motorcycling Australia has announced that rounds nine and 10 of the 2012 Yamaha Australian Off Road Championships have been officially cancelled, both rounds were scheduled to be held on 28-29 July at Conondale in Queensland.

The rounds were originally postponed, due to wet weather. Despite all efforts to move the event to an alternative weekend, organisers have been unable to secure a new date due to clashes with state championship calendars.

The 2012 championship will now be run as a 10-round series, with the final weekend of competition to be held at Kapunda in South Australia on 25-26 August. Details about the Kapunda weekend and the championship presentation night will be forthcoming.

All entries received to date for the cancelled Conondale rounds will be moved to the Kapunda rounds, unless notified otherwise. To request a refund, please email AORC Coordinator Denise Hore at [email protected].

The Queensland two-day event, which was to be held in conjunction with the Conondale rounds of the AORC, will go ahead on 8-9 September.
