Red Bull X-Fighters will return to Sydney’s Cockatoo Island for the finale of the 2012 series this year, and tickets are now on sale for the world famous freestyle motocross event.

The worlds top freestyle motocross riders will converge on the iconic venue on 6 October. The course will be designed and shaped from the ground up with a series of challenging jumps built using 6500 tonnes of dirt.

Riders such as Levi Sherwood, Dany Torres, Cameron Sinclair and 2011 event winner Josh Sheehan will be on hand to lay down their best runs and biggest tricks.

Tickets to last year’s inaugural event sold out within three days, and fans were on hand to witness a local triumph as West Australian Josh Sheehan double-backflipped his way to a historic win.

The 2012 season will reach its climactic conclusion on Australian soil following events in the UAE, USA, Turkey, Spain and Germany.

Ticket packages start at $69.00 (plus booking fee) including ferry transfers, and are on sale now at www.ticketek.com.au.
