Already laying down some impressive results to date in his 2012 Monster Energy MX Nationals campaign, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Kade Mosig says a win is on the agenda for the near future.

The Victorian has placed himself on the podium already this year and scored numerous top five finishes in the ultra competitive MX2 division.

After seeing recent progress in the bike development and taking his best qualifying result to date at Hervey Bay, Mosig is aiming for that top spot as the series heads into round seven.

“I took a big step forward this round,” said Mosig. “I qualified the best I have all year and we’re making really good progress with the KX250F.

“But I could have done without those two crashes in the final moto. The track was pretty gnarly and I caught my feet in one of the ruts and got ripped off the bike.

“Then in the second crash I landed on my thigh which already had muscle damage from a practice crash during the week, but overall I feel everything is improving and I know that a win is coming.”

Mosig, currently holding fifth overall in the MX2 class, will head to Horsham in Victoria for round seven of the 2012 Monster Energy MX Nationals series on 15 July.
