Josh Strang went 3-1 for second overall during the Utah WORCS round.
Australia’s Josh Strang claimed his first WORCS win of the 2012 season in Utah on Sunday.
Strang rode his FMF/RPM/KTM to the victory on Sunday, sealing him second place overall after picking up third on Saturday.
The weekend marked a breakthrough performance for Strang, who started out the year under an injury cloud, still recovering from a broken leg suffered late last season.
2012 is Strang’s first full season in WORCS, coming off a number of strong seasons with Suzuki in the East Coast-based GNCC series, which he won in 2010.
The overall round in Utah was won by Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Taylor Robert, who extended his championship lead during the weekend.
