HSE Motorex KTM Desert Racing’s Brad Williscroft is thankful for the huge team effort put in at the 2012 Tatts Finke Desert Race victory in Alice Springs.

Toby Price of the HSE Motorex KTM Desert Racing team, who currently leads the Australian Off-Road Championship,
clinched his second victory in three years at the prestigious event.

Behind Price was guest rider Matthew Fish who finished up fourth overall, while Williscroft put in a solid eighth place ride outright, sealing himself the Class 7 win.

“It was a huge team effort as always at Finke,” Williscroft explained. “There are a lot of resources, people and energy that go into this race.

“In the end we had around 30 people here assisting in fuel stops, plus everything before and after the race. It’s a huge effort and most are volunteers, so we are thankful for that.

Williscroft was more than impressed by both his teammates performances throughout the event duration.

“Toby just rode awesome all weekend, pretty well dominated from start to finish,” he added. “Matt Fish was also a big surprise, put in a lot of effort pre-running and it showed in the race.

“From a team perspective, we were very happy to get all three riders in the top 10 outright, plus Toby won his class and I won mine. It all came together for a top weekend.”
