Carlton Dry Honda Thor Racing’s Brad Anderson has dominated the Manjimup 15000, claiming his second overall victory at the iconic West Australian event.

The British Motocross Champion won the opening race before finishing second to fellow Honda rider Jake Moss.

While the track conditions changed throughout the day, Anderson revelled in the challenge, wining moto three and four as well as the feature shootout race.

“It was a great experience and I am absolutely stoked to have won the event for a second time,” Anderson said.

“The track definitely roughed up throughout the day which made it quite challenging.

“I didn’t get the best start in the first race but I managed to come through and take the win,” Anderson continued. “My start in race two was terrible and I ended up second to Mossy [Jake Moss].

‘It was great to win the Shootout race. We started with 40 riders, went to 12, then to six and finally three for the final dash.

“In terms of race preparation ahead of the next round of the MX Nationals, this was the perfect event for me to do and definitely worth coming to.

“With four sprint race all around the same length as the back-back races at the Nationals I got the chance to really work on my arm-pump issues. While I can‘t say it is cured, it was definitely a lot better today,” Anderson concluded.

Behind Anderson it was fellow Honda rider Jake Moss in second overall, while Dean Porter rounded out the top three.
