The Red Bull X-Fighters have hit the sands of Venice Beach this week in a special freestyle motocross demonstration, in lead-up to the next round of competition at Glen Helen Raceway in Southern California.

Defending champion Danny Torres and some of the world’s best freestyle riders took to the air in front of bikini-clad girls and weightlifting gym junkies working out at ‘Muscle Beach’.

The unique setting created a buzz in the crown and was an exciting experience for the riders involved.

Torres admits that crowd of girls in bikinis were easy on the eyes.

“This is the first time I’ve ever jumped on a beach like this. It’s great to see so many people here,” said Torres.

“It’s different from an area, especially to see all the girls wearing only bikinis,It’s good for the eyes. But no it wasn’t a distraction.

“When you’re going up the ramp you’re only thinking of the trick. But after you’ve done the trick and you ride back to the start, that’s when you see all the girls in the bikinis.”

The best freestyle motocross riders in the world will do battle this weekend on the Glen Helen course, which is set to be the biggest in history.
