Motorex KTM Off-Road’s Toby Price continued his form at Coonabarabran’s Goanna Tracks over the weekend, as it played host to rounds five and six of the 2012 Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC).

After his recent trip to America competing in the GNCC series, Price showed fine form taking wins in the E3 class on both days and taking home the Outright win for both rounds five and six, further extending his points leads.

Behind price in the Outright class on day one was Ballard’s Yamaha Off-Road’s Daniel Milner, while teammate Matt Phillips followed in third, rounding out the top three.

The E3 class saw Ballard’s Yamaha Off-Road’s Stefan Merriman and Husaberg’s Mitch Bowen take second and third respectively behind the dominant Price.

Tasmanian Matt Phillips took out the E2 class on his Ballard’s Yamaha Off-Road machine, followed by Husqvarna Racing Team’s Glenn Kearney, with Active8 Yamaha Yamalube’s Jarrod Bewley taking third.

Atop of the E1 class podium it was Milner followed by Motorex KTM Off-Road’s Ben Burrel and Active8 Yamaha Yamalube’s Josh Green.

Day two saw Price once again continue his dominance at Goanna Tracks, taking the Outright win ahead of Milner and Phillips.

The E3 class saw Price put his KTM 500 EXC on top of the podium for the second time over the weekend, while Merriman again took home second with Motorex Force Husaberg’s Scott Keegan bringing home third place.

Phillips clocked the fastest time in the E2 class, while Kearney took home a close second with Bewley rounding out the top three.

The E1 class podium was much the same on day two, with Milner again dominating the class, ahead of Green and Burrel who took second and third place finishes respectively.

The 2012 AORC series now heads to Broadford in Victoria for rounds seven and eight on 19-20 May.
