De Dycker to join Cairoli at Red Bull KTM for five GPs

KTM has announced that Ken De Dycker will ride alongside Tony Cairoli for the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team for the first five rounds of the MX1 World Championship starting on the Easter weekend in Valkenswaard, Netherlands.

KTM has announced that Ken De Dycker will ride alongside Tony Cairoli for the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team for the first five rounds of the MX1 World Championship starting on the Easter weekend in Valkenswaard, Netherlands.

De Dycker had plans to go on his own and start his own team, when Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team manager Claudio de Carli heard about his free agent status, he offered the the ride to the Belgian.

De Dycker will be standing in as a replacement rider for the injured Max Nagle, who is currently recovering from surgery.

De Dycker is currently testing on the KTM MX1 bike and making progress, he will debut for the team at round one of the World MX Championships in Valkenswaard, Netherlands, 9 April.
