Motorex KTM Off-Road’s Toby Price has extended his series lead in in both the E3 and Outright classes at round three and four of the Australian Off-Road Championships this past weekend in Wonthaggi.

In rough, dry and windy conditions Australia’s off-road specialists hit the high speed sprint challenges for two consecutive days.

On Saturday it was Price who took victory in the Outright class over Ballard’s Yamaha Off-Road’s Matt Phillips and Daniel Milner.

Price also took out the E3 class, edging out Ballard’s Yamaha Off-Road’s Stefan Merriman and Scott Keegan of the Motorex Force Husaberg team.

In the E2 class, Matt Phillips took top honours over reigning AORC champion Chris Hollis of the Motorex KTM Off-Road team, with local Victorian rider Christopher Davey taking third.

The E1 class was taken out by Milner with Active8 Yamaha Yamalube’s Josh Green in second and Motorex KTM Off-Road’s Ben Burrel taking third place.

Sunday’s race results saw much of the same from the previous day, with Price once again taking the top spot in the Outright division, with Milner and Phillips second and third respectively.

Price again put down the fastest laps on Sunday to take the E3 class win while Merriman took out the runner-up spot, with Daniel Sanders rounding out the top-three.

Tasmanian Phillips took his second consecutive E2 class win over Husqvarna Racing Team’s Glenn Kearney with Davey taking third position.

The E1 class saw an exact replica of Saturday’s racing, with Milner showing his dominance while he took his second win for the weekend over Green and Burrel.

The Australian Off-Road Championship will now head to Coonabarabran, NSW, for the fifth and sixth rounds on 28-29 April.
